Job Title: Junior Interior Designer

Job Summary:

Reporting directly to Senior Interior Designers, you will provide Interior Architecture and FF&E design support from initial concept through to completion across multiple Spain and International projects.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
  • At least 3+ years post-graduate experience with a minimum of 2 years in the luxury residential sector.
  • Full proficiency using Sketchup, AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) & Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience developing FF&E specifications, including control books, materials, finishes, lighting, and sanitary schedules.
  • Effective time management skills, ensuring projects progress efficiently within deadlines.
  • Experience liaising with suppliers and contractors.
  • Financial understanding of project costs and budget awareness.
  • An exceptional eye for scale and balance, detail and colour.
  • Impeccable and concise communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. Attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required; French is not essential but would be an advantage.

The role broken down:

  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Interior Designers in different projects, engaging directly with client briefs and providing creative solutions.
  • Assist in developing design concepts, preparing mood boards, sample boards, and detailed design proposals.
  • Select FF&E and materials aligned with project objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation including control books, schedules, and presentations for client review and procurement.
  • Uphold the highest quality standards, ensuring alignment with client expectations and Studio’s standards.
