A TRIBUTE TO CRAFT...

“If we went early in the morning to the house Anne would always be riding. She had two horses, Bugati and Tito. Bugati was faster than Tito, she loved and rode both equally. Anne borrowed freedom from them every morning. To learn about the present, sometimes one has to peak into the past...”

...AND THE WORLD OF HORSES

Anne’s paper basket is a tribute to craft and the world of horses. For this piece we have worked with an expert leather maker, using the traditional technique of couture sellier (saddle stitching) - a century-old method - originally used for stitching carriage parts and horse saddles. This exceptionally strong stitching technique uses two needles and a single thread and can only be achieved by hand.
